About Us

Bryon and Scott Turner have been fishing for over 50 years between them both. Their individual passion and desire to learn the craft of fishing has translated into a wealth of expertise. Various family and friends over the years have commented how being on the water with them was so much fun and the fishing… well, simply unforgettable. Everyone kept asking… why not turn this into a business? As so, with a little encouragement, Hook and Sea Charters came to be.

Office Admin

While relatively new at fishing, Sonja has always had a passion for the outdoors. Hanging off her Dad’s sailboat at the age of 8, she always knew her heart belonged to the water. Seeing our natural habitats around the lower mainland from the water’s perspective has been incredible. Sonja has been a key player in getting the paperwork done and seeing this dream come to life.

Spratley has a been a fantastic addition to our team and has embraced her role as our boat dog! Spratley is an English Bulldog crossed with a Pugle. We found her in Cleveland Ohio and brought her home on a crazy red-eye flight. When she goes out, she is definitely the greeter on the boat and always wants to be the first to welcome aboard people and fish alike!
